Our Fall Favorites starts at Noon today with Living Jazz
This week’s “Living Jazz” show will be another Fund Drive Special featuring a lively mix of local jazz luminaries and other jazz greats. We’ll hear a brand new reissue of a 1979 recording of pianist Hal Galper playing with the great guitarist John Scofield. We’ll hear vocalist Judi Silvano singing in Spanish, followed by her sax-playing husband Joe Lovano’s latest recording. Vocalist Kurt Elling will give us lessons in how to hold a successful rent party (aka fund drive). And much more.
Dr. David Dann will be in the studio to provide his usual wry wit and erudite commentary.
It will be fun!
