MONTICELLO, N.Y. (Nov. 21, 2025) — The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that President and CEO Ashley Leavitt has resigned from her position for personal reasons.
In a statement, the Chamber’s Board of Directors thanked Leavitt for her service and leadership.
“The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors wants to share, that President & CEO Ashley Leavitt has chosen to step down from her role for personal reasons,” the board said. “The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Ashley for her dedication, leadership, and service to the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and the business community. We wish her the very best in her future endeavors and thank her for the impact she has made during her tenure.”
The Chamber said operations will continue “without interruption” during the transition. Membership and operations coordinator Geri Neumann will handle membership relations, while Camden Olivero of Niche and Needle — the Chamber’s contracted marketing agency — will manage marketing, communications and social media. Board members will oversee event participation, leadership duties and organizational oversight.
“Our members and community partners can be confident that it is business as usual at the Chamber,” Board Chairman Brad Rutledge said. “We remain fully committed to supporting local businesses, delivering value to our members, and hosting the events and programs that strengthen our community.”
The Executive Board has opened the search for Leavitt’s successor. Interested applicants are asked to send a cover letter and résumé to chair@catskills.com.
