The Grahamsville Little World’s Fair is the longest-running independent fair in New York State. Hosted by the Neversink Agriculture Society, the fair offered live music, shows, and fun from August 15-17 in Grahamsville.
Central to the Grahamsville Little World’s Fair is participation from 4-H youth members. 4-H is the country’s largest youth development organization with nearly 170,00 young people in New York part of the program.
“We talk about agriculture, civic engagement, STEM, and healthy living, and within that, there are thousands of lessons that come to children,” said Barbara Moran, 4-H youth development program manager at Sullivan County Cornell Cooperative Extension.
From dairy show hosts to lumberjack champs, Radio Catskill’s Kimberly Izar spoke with the people who make this tiny fair feel larger than life.
