New Graduation Requirements Proposed by NYS Education Department Would “Sunset” Regents Exams

New York education officials have unveiled a proposal that would transform the state’s graduation requirements.

From the New York Public News Network, WAMC’s Lucas Willard reports that the plan is intended to bring equity to all students, but some questions remain.

    Does this apply to sports. I don’t see to many white guys making now in the pro sports field or in the colleges. Does it mean that the white boys can now concentrate on their sport and not worry about passing any longer when in comes to academics. Wonderful, now we are all equal, and no requirements.
