PennDOT to Install Wires on I-84 in Pike County, Motorists Should Expect Delays

Posted on December 6, 2024 by Tim Bruno

Motorists traveling on Interstate 84 in Pike County should expect lane restrictions between Exits 34 (Lords Valley/Dingmans Ferry) and 53 (Matamoras) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily beginning Monday, December 9, 2024, through Thursday, December 19, 2024. PennDOT says the restrictions are necessary for wire installations.

During the work hours, motorists should anticipate potential delays and reduced speeds. 511PA, a free service available 24/7, provides up-to-date traffic conditions, delay warnings, weather forecasts, and access to over 1,000 traffic cameras. Motorists can access 511PA online at www.511PA.com, through the smartphone app, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
