Besides being an enthusiastic listener to (and student of) folk music for 40 years, Graham Rice was also once a folk singer himself, singing in folk clubs in Britain and Ireland! By hosting a folk music show, but airing music that will often be new to listeners, Graham hopes to inform, entertain, and to broaden musical horizons.

About the host:
Graham has been a music fan since the sixties, starting in folk music before diverting into blues and punk but always returning to traditional and contemporary folk music, singing and playing in folk clubs for many years. He previously presented over 300 shows of the multi-genre BritMix on WJFF and, in that time, listeners would often request all-folk editions of the show. Returning to the airwaves after a health problem, the all-folk Wagonload of Monkeys was born. After twenty years in PA he’s now returned to England where he records his show at his local community radio station.
