  • Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce has essential resources and links for the current crisis.  For details, visit Catskills.Com

  • Smithsonian museums in Washington and New York City are closed, but the website offers virtual access to resources from across the museums. The Learning Lab offers pre-packaged collections that contain lessons and activities for kids. For details, visit SI.edu

  • Orange and Ulster BOCES have online education booklets for grades K through 5. These meet NY State standards and may be used by students, parents, or caregivers when school is closed. For details, visit OUboces.org
  • Khan Academy is a non-profit learning resource for all ages, with educational programs Pre-School through College.  Courses include Math, Science, Reading, Writing and Test Prep skills.  During the COVID crisis, its website includes daily class schedules and live streams.  For details, visit KhanAcademy.org

  • The Metropolitan Museum is closed, but its website offers virtual access to its collections, lectures, and tours.  Included are interactive resources for children at #MetKids.  For details, visit METmuseum.org

  • The Metropolitan Opera is closed, but will stream the Live in HD series each night. The performances begin at 7:30pm and are available to all for 20 hours after.  The Met Opera on Demand app is recommended. For details, visit metopera.org

  • MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art is closed, but its website offers virtual access to its collections.   More than 84,000 works of modern and contemporary art are currently available online. For details, visit MOMA.org

  • The New York/New Jersey Trail Conference has guides to local hiking trails and advice on healthy, responsible hiking in the current crisis.  For details, visit  NYNJtc.org

  • The Digital Public Library of America contains resources in libraries, archives, museums, and cultural institutions. The primary source sets are useful for teaching remotely during the crisis. All materials are in digital format at: dp.la

  • The National Women’s History Museum is the largest online cultural institution dedicated to US women’s history.  For virtual exhibits, oral histories, and teaching resources, visit WomensHistory.org
